Speaking from my point of view.. Damn good work here. Reason being how this was done for for a target audience. That audience being Those with that level of strength.

Sometimes you have to let someone go for their betterment. Sometimes two people love each other but are far too volatile together. Other times she/he belongs already to another. Difficult as it may be sometimes the best thing to do is to let them live their lives happy. Sometimes this gift you give them is one they are unaware of. Also for their betterment. A well crafted piece here.

I gave it top notch on all fields because of all that is here. The vision to create this comes clearly from the point of view of a first person or an empathetic third person, The expression carved into the face shows the sacrifice that was made and the technique is solid and it had one hell of an impact on me for I can more than relate to this. Bravo!

oh yes. i even wrote a poem about such an event a long time ago. i feel like re reading that now. i usually write the stuff and then just put it aside lol.
